Fractional Laser Resurfacing

Wrinkles,  crepey skin, and acne scars are common due to aging, sun exposure, and hormones. Traditionally the only available treatments were invasive procedures such as ablative CO2 lasers and chemical peels that removed the entire outer layer of the skin which was not only painful but required weeks of healing.  Our fractional laser technology produces thousands of microscopic but deep columns of heat in the skin, known as microthermal treatment zones, which stimulate collagen production. The skin around the columns remains intact and allows the skin to heal much faster, resulting in healthier skin and a reduction in wrinkles and acne scars. 
Because of the fractional technology which eliminates down time, multiple treatments are needed to ensure that the entire skin surface is treated.  Usually this requires three treatments for the face, and five treatments for scarring.
