Brown Spots
Freckles, lentigines (age spots), and moles are all pigmentation people may get from spending time out in the sun. IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a unique and effective treatment option to help clear up your skin! IPL expends pulses of light that target the pigment. The heat of the light causes the pigmented cells to break up, clearing up the skin for a healthier, luminous appearance. Typically, an IPL Photofacial treatment can be finished in as little as 15 minutes. Many patients may notice any redness or vessels they have experienced in the past to be lightened as well. The next few days following the procedure, patients may notice their treated pigmentation becoming darker. However, they usually begin to fade over the next week and in 10 days fresh, young, smoother skin is revealed!

Redness and Rosacea
Many people may experience a redness or a “blushing” like appearance in their skin, or disturbing blood vessels that make them feel self-conscious. Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that causes inflammation or redness of the face, and can be worse after certain activities like showering or exercise. It is typically found on the nose and cheeks, but can be noticed on the chin and forehead. IPL Photofacials can help treat rosacea as well as broken blood vessels, clearing up your skin for a healthier look. Typically, an IPL treatment can take as little as 15 minutes! For best results, most patients with rosacea will need 3 treatment sessions, followed by touch-up sessions every six to twelve months to maintain their results.
